This timer is already set to 2 minutes: press Start (or the Space bar) and it counts down in big numbers, with a progress bar along the bottom. When it reaches zero you'll hear three short beeps and see "Time's up!". Two minutes is the brushing time dentists usually recommend, and a good length for short bursts of anything.

Will I hear when the time is up?
Yes, three short beeps, as long as your volume is on. You can switch the sound off with the Sound button.
Does it keep running in another tab?
Yes. The timer counts against your device's clock, so it stays accurate. Some browsers slow down background tabs, so keep the timer visible if the exact moment of the beep matters.
