Rain on a window, anytime

Watch raindrops bead and run down a window in front of soft, out-of-focus city lights. Turn on the sound for gentle rain noise to help you focus, relax or fall asleep. It's drawn live in your browser, so it never loops.

How to use it

  1. Click Full screen or press F.
  2. Press Sound off to switch the rain sound on. Browsers only play sound after you click, so it starts off.
  3. Turn the screen brightness down for a cozy, dim room.

Can I use the rain sound to sleep or study?

Yes. The sound is steady filtered noise that plays as long as the page is open. Keep the volume low, and the screen brightness down if you're using it at night.

Does the sound keep playing if I switch tabs?

Usually yes, but some phones pause web audio when the screen locks or the browser goes to the background.

Will my screen stay on?

In full screen, the page asks your device to keep the screen awake, which works in most modern browsers. For long sessions on a TV or monitor, also check its own sleep or power-saving settings.
