What is a white screen used for?
A full white screen is the go-to fill light for video calls and selfies, a quick way to spot dust and dead pixels, and a handy lightbox for tracing drawings.
How to make your screen white
- Click Full screen (or click the color box, or press F).
- Your whole screen turns white. The controls and mouse cursor hide after a couple of seconds.
- Use ← → to switch colors without leaving full screen.
- Press Esc, double-click, or tap Exit to go back.
Tip: turn your display brightness up for a stronger light. While full screen is open, the site asks your device to keep the screen awake.
